Solo Performance

As a solo performer, Bruckmann specializes in hybrid electroacoustic works he creates himself or in close collaboration with like-minded composers, emphasizing his idiosyncratic skills as an improviser and his penchant for hyper-extended technique.

Programs often also include existing “contemporary classical” repertoire, explicitly prioritizing the work of composers from historically marginalized groups. (View a sample list of available repertoire.)

Particularly salient recordings documenting this mode include of rivers (New Focus 2024) and Triptych (tautological) (Carrier 2020).
